Robyn Price B. App. Sc. (Optom.)
Having completed her undergraduate degree at QIT in 1987 Robyn (originally from Cairns) worked as an Optometrist in Brisbane for 2 years before returning to the Far North with her husband BJ in 1990 to establish Price's Palm Plantation at Bartle Frere.
Since then Robyn has been providing Optometrical care in both Innisfail & Cairns.
Robyn took leave from Optomery in 2005 to concentrate on raising her four children and helping her husband BJ manage the family nursery business before returning to part time Optometrical practice in 2007.
In response to concerns from locals that they were often seeing a different optometrist each time they had an eye examination, Robyn decided to open her own practice to personally address these consistency of care issues.
Drawing upon her years of experience Robyn has designed a modern practice that tastefully blends the latest optometrical technology and techniques with a fashionable range of contempory frames and sunglasses.
Robyn has an ongoing professional interest in children's visual development and Behavioural Optometry and is providing additional services in these areas at the practice.
Robyn is a member of the Australian College of Behavioural Optometrists and is currently enrolled in the Master of Optomery postgraduate program at the University of New south Wales.
